Yesterday, Beta Alpha Psi - Theta Alpha Chapter wrapped up the 2nd Annual George Mason University Mix and Mingle and we could not have imagined a better event. I'm so proud of everyone involved for striving to make this event as great as it could be and delivering on all fronts! The Mix and Mingle is a professional networking event which connects students with high-level executives from both accounting and finance firms, as well as GMU faculty and their fellow peers. Students were able to gain valuable insights from those at the top of their profession, meet new friends and student organizations, and learn from professors and career services on opportunities available to them on campus. We also hosted students from Northern Virginia Community College, who we hope were able to learn more about GMU and their chosen fields of study during the event. I want to give special shout-outs to Alina Alam, Diego Alcantara Leon, Miriam Tran, Kim Norris, and Christopher Lindholm. This event would not have been possible without your hard work and support. Thank you all so much!
