Last Thursday The Baltimore Banner's lead story revealed that the number of Opioid overdoses and deaths in Baltimore were being vastly underreported. Probably the most impactful work we have done to date, the article also ran in The New York Times, and is part of a year-long collaboration with the Times, investigating the devastating?opioid?epidemic in Baltimore. 6,000 deaths in the last 6 years – told through sensitive reporting, analysis of public health data (procured via lawsuit), and heart-breaking photojournalism. https://lnkd.in/e8Xk89k ?
