Bannack is proud to have secured impactful grants from the Americas Foundation?to support two organizations making a difference in the lives of at-risk children and families! Friends of the Children - Eastern Montana?received?$50,000?to sponsor a new "Friend"—a full-time, professional mentor dedicated to guiding 8 children facing adverse experiences. These mentors build trusted relationships with kids from ages 4-6 through to age 18, providing stability, life skills, and support to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. Family Promise of Gallatin Valley?was awarded?$56,500?to fund 90 days of emergency shelter for five families in crisis. This grant will ensure that families facing homelessness have access to safe housing, nutritious meals, childcare, medical care, and essential life-skills classes—all geared toward helping families regain stability and independence. Congratulations?to these two incredible organizations and a massive thank you to the Americas Foundation for enabling Friends of the Children and Family Promise to continue making lasting impacts on vulnerable youth and families in need. The Ranchers Stewardship Alliance (RSA) is thrilled to continue its collaboration with the Bezos Earth Fund and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF)! This partnership is vital to RSA’s mission of balancing conservation with sustainable ranching practices.??But what exactly does this partnership with the Bezos Earth Fund and NFWF mean for conservation??With the $30 million commitment from the Bezos Earth Fund,?they're?working to restore 600,000 acres of Northern Great Plains grasslands—one of the most endangered ecosystems in the world. Today we're highlighting Senior Consultant at Bannack, Jason Jimmerson. Jason is a master strategist and project manager with extensive experience developing systems and procedures to support fundraising efforts and departments. His primary service areas are: strategic planning, mission/vision development, campaign management, individual and corporate fundraising, volunteer management and donor/prospect outreach coordination, and databases and data systems. Jason works with clients who are launching/retooling fundraising departments and program initiatives, and those implementing organizational change. He was previously the Chief Information Officer for the Montana State University Alumni Foundation and an agri-business consultant with a national client reach. Jason is a proud native Montanan, originally from Conrad, and is committed to working with nonprofit organizations across Montana and the Rocky Mountain West. Jason is also a proud Bobcat, earning both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Economics from Montana State University.
