Our team had an amazing time volunteering at Junior Achievement BizTown this week! 21 Bank Five Nine volunteers hosted 96 enthusiastic students from Jeremiah Curtin Leadership Academy and U.S. Grant Elementary. Thank you to our awesome volunteers for making this day so impactful and living our mission of Making Lives Better! JA BizTown combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to a simulated town. This popular learning experience allows elementary school students to operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks, and vote for mayor. Students learn to connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world.
Our Oconomowoc Branch Manager, Chris, recently visited the Oconomowoc Sports Booster Club to deliver a $2,250 Mascot Banking Incentive donation. While there, he connected with new board members to share more about the program and answer their questions.
