There was an incredible energy in the room during the live Art of Voice Acting webinar last week. We teamed up with Adventures in Voice Acting to fundraise for victims of the recent fires in Southern California, hosting roundtable discussions featuring amazing voice actors and directors that shared their insights into the industry. Together we raised $10,000 that will be donated to Calfund and Entertainment Community's fire relief programs. We can't thank our contributors enough and we hope that the segments encouraged many aspiring voice actors and fans who were watching out there to always persevere. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend, including our amazing in-studio audience! Here's to community and making a difference where we can. ?? #LAStrong

Studio alongside executive producers Adele "Supreme" Williams and Dominique Braud. Thank you to the team at Six Point Harness for letting us be a part of this Series of Relatable Circumstances. There's something exciting in the forecast! Al Roker's animated series, Weather Hunters, will premiere on PBS Kids July 7, 2025! Featuring a fun and diverse cast with recognizable voices such as Sheryl Lee Ralph, Holly Robinson Peete, and LeVar Burton, along with Al Roker playing himself, Bang Zoom! is honored to not only have recorded their voices but also help their world audibly come alive with our sound design, foley, and mixing. Our team is so excited to share this release and for your kiddos to hear how it sounds! I’m incredibly proud to announce today’s launch of "Team Mekbots: Animal Rescue" on Peacock and YouTube! It’s a 78 x 7-minute series created by Shane Amsterdam, Steed Sun, David Voss and me.? ? Huge thanks to Michael Sluchan and Kristofer Updike for ordering the series three years ago and for giving us terrific creative feedback and support. We’ve loved making the series with them and with young executive Vanessa Richards, and with wonderful VP of Production Joe Abele. ? We're tremendously grateful to Mads Munk and the amazing team at M2 Animation: René Sánchez Jessen, Owen Hurley, Kylie Ellis, Marianna Knaze, Stephen Murray, Pongpisit Tammakoon and their extraordinary creative and production teams. Steed designed the original Mekbots and then worked closely with M2’s wonderful designers, modelers, editors, animators and lighting artists as they brought the characters and our stylized world to life. M2 is an incredible studio with an unwavering commitment to clear and dynamic storytelling and beautiful animation.? ? Shane story edited the series working with a fantastic team of writers and the sage educational advice of Cheryl Gotthelf. Amir Agoora was our script coordinator who quickly blossomed into one of our best writers. The team’s dialogue was brilliantly performed by our young actors David Curry III, Bentley Griffin, Evie Hsu and Trey Diaz Murphy, and by our grown-ups-of-a-thousand-voices-and-animal-sounds Luis Bermudez and Paula Rhodes. I proudly played a swan, a mountain goat, a bar-headed goose and a chimpanzee. My swan and my goose are, well, kind of similar. ? Our recording, sound design and mixing were done at my favorite post house ever: Bang Zoom. Thanks to Eric Sherman and Jonathan Sherman, Mio Moroe, Mami Okada, Deirdra Angelucci, Heidi Hoffmann, John Wynn, Isaac Caldes and the world’s best re-recording mixer Patrick Rodman. We proudly did Season 1 casting and voice recording with wonderful René Veilleux and Verité Entertainment. Terrific to work with René as always. ? The incomparable Michael Tavera scored every episode with expert mixing by Scott Cochran. I LOVE working with you Mike and Scott!? ? I believe our role as children’s media creators is to give kids – as Kenneth Burke said of literature -- “equipment for living”. In this series we’re modeling courage, teamwork and compassion for all living things. A tech-savvy team of kids join forces as Team Mekbots to rescue animals all over the world in this new children's series streaming now on Peacock! Bang Zoom! recently welcomed film students from FC Tokyo: Tokyo Film Center College of Arts and To-Ani: Tokyo College of Anime e-Sports in our studios. They were able to sit in on voice over recordings of both original animation and anime ADR, as well as tour our mix stages and production offices. It's so great to be able to share our behind-the-scenes with such passionate individuals pursuing a career in this industry. We hope to see you again soon ??
