Baltimore Washington Cleantech Incubator (BWCI)

***PAUSING FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE*** Baltimore Washington Cleantech Incubator (BWCI) is a private non-profit organization forging the inception of green and cleantech technologies for commercialization in the Nation's Capital Region through the collaboration of start-ups from various areas under one innovation ecosystem through research and technology exchanges. We were founded on the ideas of previous cleantech incubators' initiatives to benefit the National Capital Regions' rich development and economic opportunities for clean energy. Community, Government, and Industry involvement will drive workforce development, entrepreneurial apprenticeship, and community education on various clean energy technologies. Our fully vested innovation center with charging stations and complete research and development campus will open in the city of Baltimore, MD (Fall of 2023). BWCI is working to strengthen our ties to the DMV area by surveying the cleantech space and finding the most inspiring aspect of clean technologies from working with entrepreneurs.
