This week, the BDC team attended the State of Downtown event, where bold ideas and key insights about Baltimore’s future took center stage! ????? Leaders from the private sector, City and State, and the community came together to discuss Baltimore’s economic trajectory, development trends, and the role of public-private partnerships in shaping a vibrant downtown. We were especially proud to see BDC’s data team recognized for their contributions to the State of Downtown report, which provides valuable insights into the city’s progress and opportunities. The panel, featuring Steve Leeper (3CDC), Vaki Mawema (Gensler Baltimore), and Mayor Brandon Scott, highlighted innovative ways cities are reimagining buildings and public spaces.
