An inclusive, informal, co-working meetup for people of all skill levels. Bring a laptop and ideas, we'll bring coffee!
关于我们
Baltimore Code and Coffee is an inclusive, informal, co-working session. People of all skill levels are invited. The concept is simple, bring a laptop and ideas, we'll provide the coffee, tea, and donuts. Here's how it works: 1. At around 9:30am everyone introduces themselves and briefly describes what brought them to Code & Coffee today (project, homework, networking, etc) 2. For the rest of the day, folks work in the communal space on their projects providing one another help and conversation. Oh and they usually drink coffee and tea too!

We had our first symposium last Saturday & tackled the question : "Is AI is beneficial to society?". The advantages & drawbacks are nuanced, & strong arguments can be made for both sides, but whether we embrace it or reject it the fact is that it's here and having an impact. To quote one of our panelist "The most important thing we can do is have an open conversation about it" Thanks to our panelists Iris Gupta, Jim Keeney, Ryan Lafferty, & Daniel Hunter & our organizer Valentine Okundaye for the insightful points & arguments, & to our community for equally insightful comments & questions! See you next time. Photo creds to Danielle J. Brown

We had a grand time today celebrating our 5th anniversary! We wore purple to show pride in our city and our community— a scrapy band of engineers set on the dissemination of knowledge from the most seasoned professionals to the most eager beginners, and everyone in between. A special thanks to our speakers Adler Archer, Valentine Okundaye & Julian Loiacono for sharing their thoughts and vision for the community. We'd also like to thank Hakim Dyer for hosting us at Spark and taking some great photos. If you missed us today, you can catch us on September 7th for a communication workshop "Speak up outside of standup". https://lnkd.in/ebRaU8DE See you there!
