The student-to-counselor ratio in the U.S. is 376:1—leaving too many students behind. The Class is a new six-part docuseries coming to PBS starting TODAY and features Ballmer Group grantees College Advising Corps and Campaign for College Opportunity. The Class follows six high school students in Antioch, CA, who fight for their college dreams against the odds, with the support of one college counselor who won't give up. Filmed during the unprecedented 2020-2021 pandemic year, it’s a must-watch to gain a deeper understanding of the barriers students face in accessing higher education, as well as inspiration from real-life stories of resilience. Stream it NOW on the PBS app, or check your local listings. #TheClassPBS Learn more at https://lnkd.in/dxBrcdEA. https://lnkd.in/gAaKY_rn

Our Co-Founders recently sat down with The Chronicle of Philanthropy to talk about the first 10 years of Ballmer Group Philanthropy. From the very beginning, our team has been focused on children and families. While our strategies and priority areas evolve over time, our commitment to economic mobility never changes. We're celebrating this milestone and then getting right back to work! https://lnkd.in/gT743G3W
