Established in 1951, the Ball State Foundation started off with just a handful of members and few thousand dollars to invest. Today, over 70 years later, we work in partnership with the university to help realize its strategic goals. And—because of your generous gifts—we have a considerably larger amount to invest. We support the university, its mission, and its students by carefully stewarding, prudently investing, and strategically allocating private gifts for scholarships, faculty, and programs.

Earlier this week, the Ball State Baseball Stadium was formerly renamed Shebek Stadium. The naming honors longtime benefactors and Ball State graduates Michael and Katherine Shebek. The naming recognizes the Shebek family's recent $5 million gift, which will further enhance the stadium venue that received a new, state-of-the-art videoboard in 2024, along with outfield signage and stadium padding surrounding the field's perimeter. #ForBallState #AnswerTheCall

This past week, the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County awarded over $1 million in Community Grants to organizations serving Muncie and Delaware County. The Ball State Foundation was honored to be the recipient of a grant totaling $100,000 for the Performing Arts Center. This grant is the second year of a six-year commitment totaling $500,000. #ForBallState
