The Company, based in Houston, currently is developing major projects in the Texas and Florida markets. The Company’s first project, Balcara at Balmoral (www.balcarabalmoral.com) will be completed in summer 2021. The property is advanced in lease-up and is representative of the Company’s strategy to develop scaled communities in excess of 150 homes and to co-locate with leading Master Planned Communities in high-growth major markets. The Company is in pre-development for a number of large projects in its current markets as well as the Carolinas. The Company was formed by Paul Davey and Ed Steffelin, who have known one another since 1994 and combined have over 50 years of diverse investment and operational experience in the real estate industry.

Balcara at Epperson has been nominated for the build to rent deal of the year. The project consists of 174 townhomes with a dedicated amenity in the successful Epperson master plan. We were fortunate to have great partners on all aspects of the project resulting in a fantastic outcome.

Another week and another large investment into the US build to rent sector for both development and acquisition. "A South Florida-based real estate investor and developer has teamed up with a Spanish alternative investment management fund to invest at least $3 billion toward the construction and acquisition of residential properties across the U.S. Southeast and Midwest ? Aventura-based Advenir announced it solidified its partnership with Madrid-based Azore on Oct. 3 to build more than 10,000 new single-family home rentals, mainly in the SunBelt states--including Florida--and select parts of the Midwest.?The new business entity, called Advenir Azora, will also acquire 5,000 existing units and serve as a "vertically integrated platform spanning acquisition, development, asset management, property management, and fund services capabilities," a release from both firms stated." ?
