??????. Baker has a long standing relationship with embedding storytelling into curriculum and is one of the driver's of why our alumni are prepared to succeed in high school, college and beyond. "Two pressing questions facing educators right now are: How do we keep students from?using ChatGPT and other AI tools to cheat on tests and other assignments? And how do we?engage students in learning?when they have access to so much distracting technology? The answer to both questions, according to Michael Hernandez, who teaches broadcast journalism, cinematic arts, and photography at Manhattan Beach High School in Los Angeles: Ditch traditional assessments and get kids engaged in critical thinking and storytelling that has a clear purpose behind it."

Baker has long been a leader in innovative, research backed, curriculum. Research consistently demonstrates the profound impact of music and movement on brain development. According to a study published in the?Journal of Neuroscience,?musical training enhances the brain’s ability to process language, potentially improving reading skills and verbal memory. Hands-on learning, as we do at Baker, optimizes the musical learning journey and creates opportunities for young brains to deeper develop knowledge in other academic areas of learning.
