This past week, our team had the privilege of witnessing the 60th anniversary commemoration of Bloody Sunday and the Selma-to-Montgomery March. The starting point for the march, Brown Chapel AME Church stands as a historic landmark—not only for the Civil Rights Movement but for the broader history of the United States. As part of the ongoing effort to preserve Historic Black Churches by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, we are honored to contribute to the important preservation work at Brown Chapel. A heartfelt thank you to Brown Chapel tour guide Bruce L. Holmes, Sr., Pastor Leodis Strong, Bishop Julius McAllister Jr. (Presiding Bishop of the 9th Episcopal District AME Church), and Mr. Brent Leggs (Executive Director of the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, National Trust for Historic Preservation) for welcoming us to this meaningful event.
