Tasting Room Associate Bailarin Cellars Tasting Room Downtown Sacramento, CA Job Summary: We are a Sonoma County Winery with a Sacramento Tasting Room near the Golden 1 Center. We are seeking a wine loving professional with strong hospitality and wine industry experience to serve in our Tasting Room and help with Operations and Events.?The potential candidate must provide the highest level of professional customer service, must be dynamic and a motivated results-driven professional that fosters a collaborative work environment. Tasting Room Associate: ?Greet customers promptly and courteously ?Conduct Wine Tasting Flights using verbiage consistent with Bailarin Cellars standards ?Promote the sales of wine and promote our Wine Club ?Execute Open and Close duties for daily operations and special events ?Stock/re-order wine, food and retail merchandise in the tasting room as needed ?Accurately perform daily wine inventory and money handling procedures ?Working efficiently and respectively with team members ?Always provides outstanding customer service ?Assist with Operations and Events as needed Qualifications: Wine Industry Experience: 2 years Hospitality: 5 years Certifications: Sommelier preferred Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and be 21 years or older Job Type:?Part-Time, weekend/evening work availability a must Wage:?$18-$20/hour DOE, Plus Tips and Incentives? For 68 years The Bacigalupi Vineyards name has been an indisputable symbol of excellence as growers of exceptional Russian River grapes for many notable wineries since 1956. We celebrate these heroes and learn from their words of wisdom as we chase our own pursuits. This Women's History Month we celebrate Helen Bacigalupi, a distinguished wine grower that has left an indelible mark on the viticultural landscape. Her enduring influence in the world of winemaking and viticulture begin with the land and carry through multiple generations following her giant footsteps. Helen and her husband Charles founded Bacigalupi Vineyards in 1956. Their vineyard gained international acclaim in the 1976 Judgment of Paris as California wine triumphed over the French in a blind tasting competition with Bacigalupi chardonnay fruit as significant composition of the winning Chateau Montelena.
