Sami Ketelsen will be talking about the impact of her Bag of Fun that she received in February 2024 while she was deep in her fight with osteosarcoma. A remarkable young lady! Sami has shown incredible resilience and strength throughout her battle and despite the physical and emotional toll of the illness, she has remained an unwavering symbol of hope to those around her. Her courage in the face of adversity has inspired countless others who are also fighting their own battles. Sami’s optimism and determination serve as a beacon of light, reminding everyone that even in the darkest moments, there is always a reason to keep going. Through her journey, she has not only proven her own inner strength but also provided others with the belief that, with hope and perseverance, anything is possible! Meet Arabella! ?? We met up with this sweetie at Boys Town National Research Hospital while she was receiving an infusion for her illness. Her favorites are unicorns, mermaids and cats! We love bringing distraction, joy and happiness wrapped up in a backpack to kids in our community facing a difficult health journey. Our favorite part are the huge smiles that a Bag of Fun can bring to a recipient and their family. #smilesfordays #thepowerofplay

Meet Chloe! ?? Pure joy and laughter is what we bring to kids battling a long term and life threatening or critical illness. Chloe LOVES Wicked, so we put a fun lego set and book in her Bag of Fun, along with some art crafts and other distractive items. Her wish became a reality and 20 years later The Gabby Krause Foundation has delivered over 16,000 Bags of Fun! Meet Ra’meria! We love that smile peeking out from under the mask! This little sweetie is going through treatment for leukemia.
