Bachman’s was founded in 1885 and remains family-owned, with fifth-generation Bachman family members leading the company today. Based in Minneapolis, Bachman’s operates retail locations in the Twin Cities, including six full-service floral, home, and garden centers, a gift and décor store in Galleria Edina, a hardscapes center (Farmington), and 28 floral departments within Lunds & Byerlys grocery stores. The company also operates indoor and outdoor landscaping divisions, a wedding/special events department, a nursery wholesale division, seven acres of greenhouses, and a 670-acre growing range in Farmington, Minn., which produces many of the plants, flowers, and landscaping products sold by Bachman’s today. This gathering brought together 150 women from across the Midwest for an evening of education, networking, and inspiration. 🎉 At Bachman’s, we are proud to support the mission of Midwest Women in Horticulture: cultivating a vibrant community of women leaders in the horticulture industry, fostering connections, and sharing knowledge to empower professional growth. Today Bachman's visited University of St. Thomas to celebrate the Society of American Florists #petalitforward campaign, a goodwill initiative to spread the power of flowers, as they are scientifically proven to reduce stress and make people happy. 😀 Our team of purple handed out hundreds of flowers to students, faculty, staff and other St. Thomas community members with the #petalitforward mission in mind: take a flower, give a flower.
