As part of our ESG+ efforts, Baceline Group launched a Smart Irrigation pilot program at six of our Neighborhood Shopping Centers to discover the most efficient, scalable, and resourceful water conservation practices at our properties. Smart Irrigation Systems offer robust, remote-controlled capabilities in managing watering schedules, monitoring performance, and making system adjustments to ensure maximum water efficiency. Irrigation controllers optimize watering schedules to align with anticipated weather conditions such as rain and snowfall, temperature, wind, and humidity. By reacting to shifting weather conditions, the system automatically measures and controls the moisture delivered to landscaped areas, which significantly reduces water waste. Smart Irrigation Systems are shaping how we manage water resources at our Neighborhood Shopping Centers.
