As of December 1, 2024, the Black Arts & Culture Alliance of Chicago (BACA) is entering a new phase of leadership, including welcoming Luther Goins as our Interim Executive Director. Vershawn Sanders-Ward and Charlique Rolle will transition from the Board of Directors, and we extend our deepest gratitude for their leadership, vision, and dedication to BACA’s mission. We are also pleased to announce Jackie Taylor as our new Board President. Jackie’s commitment to the Alliance and her extensive experience in the arts and culture community will help guide BACA to new heights. While we bid farewell to Vershawn and Charlique, we look forward to the continued success and growth of the Alliance under Luther, Jackie, and the Board’s collective leadership. ??
