This past weekend I headed to DC to participate as a vendor of The Mommy Market by The Momference- a conference of over 500 Black moms. I’m still recovering, but wow what a magical and beautiful event. Being a solopreneur and often a one woman show can be isolating and attending in person events like these are truly a reminder of why I decided to take the leap and start my own company. Getting the opportunity to speak in person to customers about BabyDonna and see their first hand reaction of our sunscreen is priceless and the spark needed to continue on this rollercoaster of a journey. ??
