After almost two years of working together remotely, it was great to have our first in-person meeting with our marketing team, In Plain Sight Marketing LLC, in Reno, Nevada! Jeffrey Babich, INCE Bd. Cert. and Renee Plain, CEO of In Plain Sight Marketing, were part of the same national cohort for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program in 2021 and kept in touch over the years. It was an easy partnership when we were looking for a marketing agency and two years have flown by! Looking forward to when we can get them out to PA!

When one space is used for many different purposes, sound isolation becomes more important. We worked with CITY OF ASYLUM PITTSBURGH on their mixed-use space Alphabet City, located on the North Side of Pittsburgh, PA. This historic building is the home to a restaurant, bookstore, and performing arts spaces. With apartments occupying the floors above, we conducted various noise surveys to ensure happy tenants all around. The venue opened in 2017 and continues to be a vibrant space for endangered literary writers, musicians, and artists to gather and collaborate in Pittsburgh. https://lnkd.in/g-fUFvpq

In retail stores, reverberation is controlled with acoustic treatments within spaces. Additional mechanical units serving these buildings, including exhaust and refrigeration systems, are often necessary. They can cause additional noise in the building and in the community.
