Today we are celebrating National Biodiesel Day! Pilot has become the first travel center network operator to offer B99 biodiesel at retail locations for commercial fleets. This collaboration with PepsiCo, ADM and Optimus Technologies, Inc. Technologies emphasizes the importance of partnerships to drive sustainability in the trucking industry. Biodiesel, made from renewable sources like vegetable oils and recycled grease, is a lower-carbon fuel that can improve efficiency and help drive toward a cleaner future for hard-to-decarbonize sectors like long-haul trucking. In 2024, Pilot was responsible for 25% of all biodiesel gallons blended and sold nationwide, with a truckload delivered to one of our travel centers every 11 minutes. Pilot is committed to helping shape the future of energy and meeting the evolving needs of its guests and customers.
