Our Illuminate HOPE Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It is also an event where we honor the women within our communities who are on their breast cancer journey and/or moving through their survivorship. "This organization is so special to me! The programs and the people I’ve met through my journey helped get me out of my cancer darkness and helped me find my light again. Josie Helget and Jasmine Petermann knew exactly what they were going to do for their MHS Honors Society project…bake cinnamon rolls! These two young ladies baked and sold cinnamon rolls to raise money for two local nonprofits. B the Light was one of those they chose. When asked what made them choose B the Light both of the ladies said they knew other women that had participated in B the Light’s programs. ??
