Today Mike Rhodes visited and spoke at Adjunct Professor Elisabeth Parker seminar for first year business students at the Rohrer College of Business – Rowan University. Elisabeth is part of the Rohrer College of Business Center for Professional Development. The theme of today’s discussion was teamwork in the business world, and Mike spoke about successes and failures he has seen when it comes to teamwork; as well as how important teamwork is in construction management. Part of today’s visit after speaking engagement was having the students break off in teams to do the Marshmallow Challenge, where they have 18 mins to build a structure and they are judged on height and stability of their final product. This worked extremely well since it’s a teamwork activity with construction themes. Thank you again, Elisabeth Parker for your inclusiveness and we look forward to our next event!
