Kicked off B Corp Month with the incredible B Local San Diego Board! We immersed ourselves in the woods to envision a better future for San Diego, one where business contributes to a thriving ecosystem for all. Big things are coming in the next few months! Storytime: last month I made a post lamenting the lack of a B Corp-certified coffee shop in San Diego, the team at Eightbillion saw the post and immediately donated their JostArriba coffee to our board so that we could take B Corp-certified coffee on the go as we expand the community in San Diego. Thank you John Stevens and Holly Xing, you embody the spirit of what this community and movement is all about. It was a pleasure to host you at the 1% for the Planet Global Conference this year and you have gained some superfans in San Diego!
