It's been a WEEK. Or two weeks, really. From a mezcal tasting to a launch party to a full week of Charleston Wine + Food events, I've barely caught my breath. We had a lot of fun but also learned and communed. I was particularly thrilled to experience the cooking of Chef BJ Dennis who has become an unofficial ambassador for Gullah Geechee culture, history, and cuisine in #charleston. As we continue talking about sustainable changes you can make in your home, I want to bring attention to the fantastic company Made Trade. Cayley Pater and Andy Ives met in?2005 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Fair Trade Club. Eventually, they got married and launched this online retail company with one mission: to simplify the process of discovering ethically made and sustainably sourced home goods and clothing by?allowing values-vetted artisans to sell their goods on the site.
