We are hosting our first-ever "Up and Coming!" event, where we invite students pushing the boundaries of gaming, leading communities, or working on unique projects to speak on a special interest topic of their choice. Our speakers are: Jacob Robinson is a senior Computer Science student at the University of Michigan and an aspiring game developer. He's currently working as an intern gameplay programmer for Yooper Games Studios' upcoming project. On the side, Jacob has been working on a custom 2D game engine called "WolverineEngine" to hone his development skills. Tucker Koepp is a Game Designer currently studying at Lawrence Technological University specializing in Technical Game Design. He has worked on projects such as At Least I'm Rich, the Top Overall winner of IndieCade's 6th Annual Climate Jam. Being an Indie developer in the industry's current state is stressful and scary sometimes. Taking on client work and side projects to keep the lights on while spending any free time or extra cash on our flagship title, Ravenwood. As much as I would love to go full steam ahead, I am happy with our little progress at a time while pitching to everyone who will listen. We are working our way through a Steam page overhaul, and I am beyond excited! While I have been told to save some things for the launch, I would love to tease a hero image we got and hype up the new preview tool for Figma by Polymoon Games Nick Pfisterer. For us, it will accelerate our workflow and make communication more manageable with our concept artist, Massimo Di Leo.
