The mission of the Fundación Pro Eco Azuero/Azuero Eco Foundation is to preserve the ecosystem of the Azuero Peninsula, protect biodiversity, and promote healthy communities by helping people to make informed decisions, take sustainable actions, and share knowledge. Every part of the Azuero can remain economically viable, or become more so, while protecting and enhancing habitat and diversity. By employing methods that can be sustainably implemented; with the significant scientific knowledge at our disposal, without significant expense, the Azuero can be a viable model for the rest of Panama, Central America, and throughout the tropics.
