Happy Fossil Day! You will find amazing fossils here at the Arizona Museum of Natural History, including a huge bone you can touch! Find it and many other displays in Dinosaur Hall and throughout the museum. Do you know what Arizona's state fossil is? It's Araucarioxylon arizonicum, but what exactly is that? #FossilDay

Today, we celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day and recognize the contributions that continue to shape our communities made by the people who have lived in these lands from time immemorial. The Arizona Museum of Natural History has stewardship of many objects created by the indigenous people living in Arizona today and their ancestors.

MY STEAM is a high school volunteer program focused on science, technology, engineering, art and math in a museum setting. Participants will learn the ins and outs of museum programs and be able to design and present their experiments, demonstrations, or crafts to museum visitors.
