Today we honor all of our Veterans for their service and sacrifices they made to protect our freedoms. On Veterans Day please take time to remember, honor and thank the more than 20 million Veterans who answered the call of duty for our country. Oorah! Happy 249th birthday to the United States Marine Corps! The USMC was founded in 1775 as a service branch of infantry troops capable of fighting both at sea and on shore. Today, there are more than 2 million USMC Veterans across the United States.

If you're in the Yuma area, stop by the Arizona State Veterans Home at 6051 E 34th St for their Trunk or Treat event on Halloween! From 4-5PM on Thursday, residents will be passing out candy to the kids so bring the whole family!
