With over two weeks of hands-on wet labs, students get the opportunity to: ?? Learn to identify oral anatomy and master conducting oral exams ?? Interpret dental radiographs and understand the equipment and techniques involved in taking them ?? Perform extractions with confidence and practice nerve blocks under expert guidance AVDS' Dr. Fink leads this educational initiative, collaborating with other AVDS specialists and technicians to mentor students and spark their passion for veterinary dentistry. 1?? The first week focuses on building a solid foundation—oral exams, anatomy, and radiograph interpretation. 2?? In the second week, we dive into advanced skills like extractions and anesthesia techniques for pain management. Programs like this are a major step forward in veterinary education, ensuring that future veterinarians are prepared to offer exceptional dental care to their patients. ????
