One of our mechanical/electrical/plumbing projects – the Herberger’s anchor conversion at Southdale Center in Edina, MN – earned the Innovation Award at the Minnesota Shopping Center Association’s annual STARR awards competition earlier this week. The awards recognize excellence in the retail and shopping center industry. Project Manager Lyssa Goranson of our MEP team was in attendance to proudly accept the award with our client, RSP Architects.

Inspecting progress! Austin Rieder from our Water Resources group and Joe Bluma from our structural engineering team recently completed a structural inspection on a roller gate at Lock and Dam No. 5 on the Mississippi River as part of a rehabilitation project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The inspection is one of six gates we’ll be inspecting over the next four years. Excited to contribute to this vital work! #CivilEngineering #WaterResources #ClientsAsPartners

Thank you, Paige Bernhardt, PLA, ASLA, for being a role model and sparking interest in the next generation of STEAM professionals.
This morning, I had the opportunity to attend the Smart Girls Rock career fair at Menomonie Middle School, where I had the chance to represent landscape architecture alongside a diverse group of STEAM professionals. It was truly inspiring to introduce 250+ middle school girls to this impactful profession. The look of curiosity and excitement on their faces when I explained what a landscape architect does was absolutely priceless.
