Meet Melissa Cramer, founder of Cherokee’s Glazed Nuts, a cottage-based business that’s delighting customers with whiskey-glazed nuts in a variety of slow-roasted flavors! Driven by a need to support her family while navigating the challenges of autoimmune disease, Melissa transformed her kitchen into a small-scale production hub. Now, she’s working toward expanding into a commercial kitchen, enabling her to bring her unique flavors to customers nationwide. Through the AcceleratHER Fellowship, Melissa has found both invaluable resources and a supportive network of like-minded women. “The fellowship has shifted my mindset,” she shares. “I no longer doubt whether I’m smart or capable enough to reach my goals—I’m inspired to do even more.” Her advice to women entrepreneurs? “It takes determination and thick skin. When things get tough, give yourself grace, step away if you need to, and come back stronger.
