Turns out, when you connect the right providers with the right communities—good things happen. And they’re happening fast. ? Our growth in the locums space is powered by clinicians like Emma Moore, NP—2024 Locum of the Year (shoutout to Locumpedia ??). She’s shown up for rural and community care in a big way, and honestly? She makes us all want to step up our game. This is why we do what we do—and who we love doing it with.?
Huge shoutout to Emma Moore, NP, for being named a 2024 Locumpedia Locum of the Year! No surprise there — Emma’s been out here adapting to new healthcare settings like a pro, delivering top-tier patient care and proving that great locums don’t just adapt, they thrive —even in the most unpredictable shifts. We’re beyond proud to have her in the Aya Locums family! ?? Read more about her well-earned recognition here: https://lnkd.in/geyZXiNF

Firearm injuries are a public health issue, and now the leading cause of death for children and teens in the U.S. At Aya, we’re passionate about making lives better and communities safer, and we are proud to partner with the Ad Council and a coalition of leading hospitals and health systems on a first-of-its-kind gun violence prevention initiative. The #AgreeToAgree campaign offers resources for both parents and healthcare professionals on how to have these critical conversations. Healthcare professionals are on the front lines and trusted messengers to patients and families. As part of this initiative, our nurse fellow and travel ICU nurse Zac Shepherd, RN was invited to share his experience navigating these conversations across different states.
Tragically, firearm injuries are the leading cause of death for children aged 1 – 17 in America – and they have been for the last 3 years. Today at Northwell Health's 6th annual Gun Violence Prevention Forum, we launched a new youth gun violence prevention initiative, convening leaders across health care and business to urgently address the impact of firearm injuries on children and teens. This first-of-its-kind, cross-sector #AgreeToAgree campaign, created pro bono by GUT, encourages audiences to help decrease youth gun related tragedies through common ground actions. Visit AgreeToAgree.org to learn how we can make a difference in our families and communities today.
