Adult incontinence is a problem that affects millions of elderly Americans. Quality of life is severely impacted, care providers have a time-consuming job with sometimes difficult patients, and facilities face rising costs and potential penalties. Axzon’s technology and products enable a “smart brief” solution that allows a caregiver to remotely detect if an incontinence event has occurred. This allows care providers to check on a patient without disturbing them and allows care facilities to reduce costs and penalties. The solution can be attached to any adult brief by assisted living or skilled nursing staff. The solution can also be integrated by brief manufacturers directly into the brief during manufacturing. With the world rapidly transitioning from combustion engine vehicles to electric cars, EV battery integrity and safety has never been more important. EV batteries are lithium based power sources for electric vehicles. They account for 30% to 40% of an electric car’s value, which is why maintaining and monitoring them is so imperative. Monitoring the temperature of EV batteries while stored is essential to ensuring that they stay within a safe temperature range. This is key to prolonging the lifespan of the device, which can cost up to $15,000 to replace, as well as preventing hazardous events, such as fires and explosions. To that end, Axzon's passive Peel and Stick sensors are able to alert users of any temperature excursions while the batteries are in warehouses.
