This cell contains two Robot Transfer Units which measure 50ft and 54ft in length. Each unit shuttles three Kawasaki Robotics mx350L robots across the cell. The linear tracks provide the robots a 7th axis, allowing them to serve multiple processes without stopping. This increases the operation capacity for each individual robot, reducing the cell’s total cycle time and the number of robots required to complete the job.
