Great event partnering with TAO, focused on the lessons learned from past technology "gold rushes" to help fuel a greater level of success with AI/ML. Big thanks to Melissa Evers, Skip Newberry (he, him) and Ashley Kmiecik for all your support! Together, Axian and TAO gathered influential leaders from across the region to support a really healthy dialog, sharing war stories, and networking. We've received a ton of great feedback, ("so nice to be part of something that's genuinely focused on growth through leveraged experience, vs just another dinner wrapped in a sales pitch") and are excited to continue investing in our region's leadership.

If you missed our Product vs Engineering event last night I'd encourage you to reach out to one of the 60+ folks who did. Why, because afterward I heard a ton of: "wow, this was awesome, such great content and no bait and switch sales pitch, exactly the kind of event I've missed!!!" "the networking with all these local leaders was incredible, and I got to reconnect with people I've lost touch with" "I'm candidly inspired, and plan to use this in my organization" I'd also like to give a massive shout out to our panel, Scott Roth, Jody Pfeifer and Michael De Voe for offering such valuable insights from their respective successes leading both Product and Engineering teams. Additionally, all good parties need a great MC, and we certainly had one with Paul A. Chatterton at Big Oak Consulting NW. Lastly, I want to thank Biamp for offering one of the best event spaces in Portland, (not easy to host an event of this size, and to do it in style!) Axian?has had a few of our clients achieve massive acquisitions recently.?Two recent ones valued at well over $1B (yup, the Big B!!!).?Congratulations to the leadership teams at both?OpenGov Inc.?and?Jama Software?for securing very bright futures for their respective firms, while taking care of their teams in the process. Axian has had numerous projects with these organizations; both providing lift to their internal teams and helping achieve material outcomes with complex and mission critical deliverables. Knowing we've had a role in their success is the fuel we cherish, it propels us to dive into new challenges knowing we'll help our customers succeed in areas that matter.

Recently Axian was able to take our monthly Connections event to The Blanchet House for a volunteering event. Love the perspectives an event like that can bring (hint: despite a lot of challenging business headwinds these days, we're all extremely fortunate!!) Very proud to serve this crew at Axian, it's an impressive assembly of experienced technicians AND fantastic humans!
