It was all hands on deck for our Ops & Tech leaders this week as Matthieu Caillat, Chief Operating Officer, and Ashok Krishnan, Chief Innovation, Data & Analytics Officer took the stage at Insurtech Insights Europe. Matthieu joined a roundtable on day 1 focusing on the ROI of Gender Diversity with Victoria Repice, Anisah Osman Britton, Jonathan Briggs and Janthana Kaenprakhamroy. Together, they discussed why there are still too few women in tech leadership roles and why attracting more women to our industry could help plug the tech talent gap in Europe. On day 2, Matthieu discussed the future of insurance and the role of emerging technology in our industry with J?rg Bertogg, Marc Scheidegger, Magdalena Ramada Sarasola, and Sabine VanderLinden. He explained AXA's vision and ambition for AXA Digital Commercial Platform. Ashok took part in a fireside chat with Frédéric Tardy, General Manager, France for Microsoft. They explored how strategic collaborations between insurers and tech giants propel AI advancements, the significance of our partnership with Microsoft and AXA XL's AI focus. #itieu2025

We're providing a grant of $1.2 million to Save the Children UK for a five-year initiative to respond to the impact of climate change across coastal ecosystems in Sierra Leone. The?Sierra Leone Coastal Resilience Project - one of the largest ever to tackle climate resilience in the country - will empower coastal communities to plan for climate change and improve their livelihoods. It aims to reach 260,000 people directly, with a further one million people expected to benefit. The initiative is in partnership with the Green Climate Fund, which accelerates transformative climate action in developing countries. The Fund is providing a cornerstone grant of $25 million, which is complemented by co-financing from AXA XL and other partners, including the Government of Sierra Leone’s Environment Protection Agency (EPA-SL), Clifford Chance, Jersey Overseas Aid and the Government of Iceland.
