??[#ThoughtLeadership #Health] Last week, our Greater China CEO, Sally YW Wan, participated in a panel at the Global Health Summit, organised by New Frontier, on “Innovating Health Coverage: Connected Care in Hong Kong and the GBA.” ? During the discussion, Sally highlighted the immense opportunities in the GBA, driven by a rapidly aging population and growing cross-border retirement trends. With 500,000 Hong Kong residents regularly staying in Guangdong, the demand for high-quality, seamless elderly care and professional medical services is increasing. ? She added that cancer care is a key focus for AXA, as it remains a top health threat in Hong Kong with over 35,000 new cases reported in 2022. A seamless healthcare ecosystem in the GBA will enhance access to quality care.
