?? ?? ?? It's SUPER BOWL SUNDAY! Did you know these facts about the Superdome in New Orleans... ?? It is the world’s largest entirely steel-constructed arena unobstructed by posts or columns, and took 20,000 tons of steel to create. ?? The Superdome is the largest fixed-dome stadium in the world, spanning 13 acres with a diameter of 680 feet and a height of 273 feet. The area of the roof is 9.7 acres, or 440,000 square feet. ?? Nearly 400,000 square feet of aluminum makes up the exterior skin of the Superdome. The custom anodized, light bronze exterior panels have a fade-proof finish, measure 1 foot by 25 feet, and weigh approximately 27.5 pounds each. The aluminum was specifically researched, developed, and tested for the project. ?? The Superdome has hosted the Super Bowl 7 times which is more than any other venue. These include Super Bowl XII (1978), XV (1981), XX (1986), XXIV (1990), XXXI (1997), XXXVI (2002) and XLVII (2013). ?? No matter who you cheer for, enjoy the game! ??

Since joining Nucor Steel in 1998, Lynn has contributed her expertise at Hickman, Crawfordsville, and Gallatin to name a few. The bulk of her career has been as a tech representative, focusing on building strong relationships with customers. Lynn has a genuine passion for helping customers understand the intricacies of steel production and the specific qualities of the steel they order and use. She has enjoyed taking customers on mill tours and facilitating steel school sessions.
