A few of our Board Members were able to tour Revolution Workshop Roseland’s location today! The group was able to sit down and discuss industry barriers, trade association support and workforce development with the Revolution team with the main goal of fueling our industry with future workforce. The drive and dedication of the Revolution team is remarkable and we cannot wait to further support eachother. Mark Smith from Reed-Custer High School stopped by the Blum USA booth at IWF to give Lucas Cassidy a certificate of appreciation for his help with his Woodworking industrial tech class. Lucas and Mark met an AWI Chicago Chapter (Architectural Woodwork Institute) meeting years ago and Mark arranged a time for Lucas to come in and educate his students about different opportunities available in the woodworking industry. Mark also asked Lucas to introduce new cabinet hardware products to his students that they could use in their Kitchen Cabinet year long project.
