They say luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. And in leadership, business, and career growth, there’s no substitute for hard work, consistency, and showing up every day to do the job. But let’s be honest—sometimes a little luck *does play a role. The right person sees your potential. A door opens at just the right moment. You stumble upon a solution you weren’t even looking for. The key? Put in the work so that when luck comes knocking, you’re ready to answer. On St. Patrick’s Day this year, may your efforts be strong, your persistence steady, and may a little luck find its way to you, too. ??? #HardWorkPaysOff #ALittleLuckNeverHurt #StPatricksDay #Leadership #OpportunityMeetsPreparation

Have you used the Eisenhower Matrix? Have you introduced it to your middle managers? The Eisenhower Matrix is a great tool for prioritizing the work of your team by sorting tasks into four categories: ?? Urgent & Important – Do these now (e.g., crisis management, deadlines). ?? Important, Not Urgent – Schedule these (e.g., strategic planning, team development). ?? Urgent, Not Important – Delegate these (e.g., routine emails, meeting requests). ?? Neither Urgent Nor Important – Eliminate these (e.g., unnecessary reports, distractions). Using this method helps your team manage time effectively, reduce stress, and lead with clarity. #LeadershipTools #TimeManagement #ManagementSkills #ManagerTraining #Leadership #HighPerformingTeams #CEO #Leader

Have you ever given a manager an assignment to carry out for the company and it just didn't feel like they bought into it or they weren't motivated to make it happen? ?? When you explain *why* the assignment is important, how it impacts the company overall, and how it ties into the company's strategic objectives, it creates purpose behind it. Humans have a fundamental need for autonomy, and no one likes to be told what to do. However, if you set them on a purpose and give them the space to make decisions about how to accomplish it, they'll do the work and complete the assignment if they feel like they're part of a greater purpose. Don't hold back on sharing why their tasks are important. Encourage your managers to communicate with their teams why *their* work contributes to overall strategic work of the company, too. ----- Awesome People Leaders gives your managers the tools and skills they need–in their flow of work–to effectively lead high performing teams, resulting in lower turnover, higher engagement, and therefore a stronger bottom line. Take a tour or talk to our team (link in the comments!). ??
