Happy National Veterinary Technician Week! The AVMA has partnered with the National Association of Veterinary Technicians In America (NAVTA), Merck Animal Health, Royal Canin, and MentorVet to provide 300 fully funded scholarships for veterinary technicians to receive mentoring through MentorVet Tech, an evidence-based mentorship and professional development program designed to help veterinary technicians thrive in their careers. AVMA’s dedicated support for workforce wellbeing has earned the Association the designation of “Change Maker” from the National Academy of Medicine (NAM).
