Our rebrand to Lufthansa Group Quality Services aligns us more closely with the core business of the Lufthansa Group, reflecting our commitment to quality in both name and image. The name of our legal entity will remain Aviation Quality Services GmbH, continuing as a wholly owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Aviation Training GmbH. Global Launch of SARPcheck: A New Paradigm in Aviation Safety Audits London, United Kingdom 27 March 2024?- In a significant move to enhance global aviation safety, Safety Audit Review Partnership Limited (SARP Ltd.) has officially launched SARPcheck, a comprehensive safety audit program designed for the commercial aviation industry. This innovative program aims to elevate flight safety, accelerate airline business processes, and facilitate codeshares, wet leases, and charter operations through an accessible, affordable, and pragmatic approach by directly auditing applicable ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) in a structured and standardized manner. The Two-level SARPcheck registry lists “Phase I” audited operators instantly after they have undergone the full audit. SARPcheck is set to boost the accessibility of safety audits based on applicable SARPs from Annexes 1, 2, 6 (Part 1), 8, 17, 18, and 19 every 24 months to address FAA codeshare requirements and other private aviation industry standards. The program's audits are conducted by some of the world's most esteemed Safety Quality Organisations (SQOs), under the not-for-profit governance of SARP Ltd., a model that promises to maintain the program's integrity and objectivity. SARPcheck's governance structure aims at the inclusion of regulatory bodies, airlines, and the auditing SQOs, fostering a collaborative environment aimed at enhancing flight safety on a global scale. The founding SQOs Aviation Quality Services (belonging to Lufthansa Group), WAKE (QA) LIMITED and AEROTHRIVE operate a global network of extremely experienced aviation auditors. SARP Ltd. Director James Wake (Wake QA) emphasizes the collaborative effort behind SARPcheck, stating, "The development of SARPcheck represents a significant leap forward in our collective mission to advance aviation safety.
