Our team is grieving the loss of our colleague and friend, Vice President of HR Kimberly Maddox. Kimberly has been an important part of the AFCO family since 2012, and we miss her professional and personal presence already. Please take a moment to read about a life well lived. To help remember Kimberly, consider paying it forward by giving to women who need a boost in their careers at Dress for Success Worldwide, or a fresh start in life at Carpenter's Shelter. With our sincerest condolences to her family: Rest in Peace, Kimberly.

Check out this article, published by Urban Land Institute in their Urban Land Magazine online. It features a recap of the Trends session at the recent ULI Fall Meeting, where industry leaders discussed the economic opportunities and the challenges that arise from the public/private collaboration, and the financing required to get large-scale airport developments off the ground. AFCO's Chief Investment Officer and session panelist Steve Forrer is quoted in the article: “Investors are increasingly looking at airports as lucrative opportunities,” Forrer explains. “When you position an airport development correctly, it can draw in a wide range of businesses, from tech startups to established global firms." Check it out! ?? #ULIFall
