“Citizen engagement is huge right now. Like, absolutely off the chain.” (Paul Cammisa, GovSense) There are plenty of vendors for that make paying utilities easier. What really matters is creating real engagement—giving residents the ability to take action, not just interact. If someone sees an issue with their utility bill, they shouldn’t have to make five phone calls to get it sorted. They should be able to submit a service request, have it automatically routed to the right department, and get real-time updates on when help is coming.
