After two years of teaching online for Southern New Hampshire University and Saint Leo University, he has seen firsthand how global learning transforms local perspectives. For busy professionals balancing work, family and education, the flexibility of online learning is a game-changer. But relevance is just as important. In his Cyberlaw and Ethics course, students compared U.S. privacy laws with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA)—turning global policies into meaningful local discussions on digital rights and technology ethics. “The diversity in my classroom doesn’t just enrich my students’ learning—it helps me grow as an educator.” At AVENU, we believe in breaking barriers through education. For example, working with indigenous students from Chile’s Mapuche communities has provided invaluable perspectives on racial and ethnic identity.
