What a week it’s been at The MedTech Conference in Toronto ???? ?? capping off an incredible journey through the MedTech Innovator program! It’s been a transformative time for Avance Innovations and I’m beyond grateful for the mentors, friendships and connections that have made a huge impact. ??
A special shoutout to Bill Perry, my American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) mentor, who has been a constant source of wisdom and guidance, and to my incredible fellow ASPS track CEOs, Luba Perry, PhD , Stefan Behle , Dr. med. Gereon Lill , Karen Cronholm and Julien PAYEN - congratulations! The support from ASPS has been invaluable, and I’m excited to continue building on the momentum they've helped create.
Huge thanks to Paul Grand and the entire MTI team, who have truly fast-tracked our journey with their invaluable support and expertise. ??Thank you for the opportunity and for believing in our vision. While the program may have wrapped up, the relationships we’ve built will last far beyond, and I’m looking forward to what’s next for all of us.
It’s been great connecting with and learning from leaders like Kevin Lobo, CEO of Stryker and meeting so many inspiring people in this space. Mirren Mandalia, MD MBA from Johnson & Johnson who, as it turns out, went to the same school, worked in the same lab at Imperial College London and even worked for a bit at the same hospital as I - small world! ??
I’m proud to be part of such a talented cohort of 65 companies. One of the best parts of MTI has been the friendships built with my fellow cohort members. We can count on each other for help, advice, and support as we all continue pushing the boundaries of #innovation and getting life-changing technologies into the hands of clinicians and patients who need them most??.
