Yesterday, Kurtis and I made the trip to Clover, South Carolina to meet up with Jeremiah A., the owner of Adversa Workholding. Not only did we get to check out their shop, but we also had the pleasure of meeting his daughter, Vivian. She’s got a pretty awesome story about how she got into manufacturing. College wasn’t really her thing, so she asked her dad what he did for a living. Next thing you know, she’s touring his job at Gray Manufacturing Technologies, and they offered her a position! Now she’s working at Gray AND in the family shop as Aversa’s Quality Technician. Talk about jumping in with both feet. Vivian just created her LinkedIn and is ready to start building her network. Because the future of manufacturing isn’t about who’s the smartest. It’s about who adapts the fastest. You don’t have to be an AI genius to embrace AI. Toyota Motor Corporation didn’t invent automation overnight; they mastered continuous improvement. Henry Ford Motor Company wasn’t the first to build cars; he just found a way to make them better, faster, and cheaper.
