Control Panel Wiring Strategy: Let’s Talk! LinkedIn - We are looking for some feedback. I’m curious about your approach when it comes to control panel wiring. Specifically: Do you wire directly to the controller, or do you use an intermediate terminal strip? I’d love to hear why you choose one method over the other: ---Does it depend on the project scope or type of application? ---Have you found one method to be more efficient or reliable? Additionally, how does your choice impact labor costs—both in terms of engineering/design and on-site installation? Let’s open up a discussion! Your insights could really help others (and we want to learn as well!). Drop your thoughts in the comments below or feel free to message me. Looking forward to your expertise! #ControlPanels #BuildingAutomation #Automation #BAS #Engineering

Another large Distech Controls design in the books. This was a design build project. One of the larger systems consisted of a heat pump chiller which supplied hot and chilled water to 17 radiant ceiling panel zones. The radiant ceiling heater zones were controlled via Belimo 6-way control valves which supplied either hot or chilled water to their respective zones. This was a fun one!

We recently completed the design on parking garage ventilation project. For this project our client used an INTEC Controls gas detection system along with Honeywell optimizer unitary controllers for the mark-up air units. This project consisted of three gas detection zones. We have designed numerous gas detection systems over the years and always find them challenging yet rewarding. For gas detection systems we always provide zoning maps which show sensor layouts, power runs and network runs for the installing contractor. Feel free to reach out if you need any design assistance!

Below is a small portion of a design for a recent Distech Controls project. It was a large project with numerous pieces of controlled equipment. We have been seeing more and more Distech projects and feel that this control line is going to continue to grow in popularity. Additionally, the these controllers are available for purchase on our webstore. Follow the below link and take a look! https://lnkd.in/eAHHa353

We recently completed a large project for a customer who installs and services KMC Controls. It was a large project with a lot of twists and turns but the end product turned out great! Below is a snap shot of the controls design for the AHUs. Also, as a reminder, you can purchase the KMC controller stencils on our website!
