The Auto Care Association and MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers unveiled the 2024 Joint E-commerce Trends and Outlook Forecast report at the #AAPEXshow in Las Vegas. This comprehensive report dives deep into consumer trends for purchasing automotive parts and accessories online, helping the industry adapt to evolving buying behaviors. Key Highlights: ?? E-commerce sales are on the rise: Post-pandemic growth continues as inflation pushes consumers toward online channels, where they're seeking cost-effective options. ?? Notable growth: Excluding third-party marketplaces, e-commerce grew by 4.3% in 2024 and is projected to grow at a 6.7% CAGR through 2027. With major players like Amazon, eBay Motors, and Walmart included, the total channel is expected to grow 6.7% annually from 2020-2027. ??
